Summary of qualifications

I have extensive experience working with the Las Vegas Nevada and Miami Florida disabled community. A brief list of the types of clients I have successfully worked with includes but is not limited to; Psycho-social clients: bi-polar diagnosis, schizophrenia, traumatic brain injury, manic depression and sever personality disorders. Juvenal clients, from 16 up. Clients with Felony convictions, learning disorders and mental retardation. Clients with physical issues: loss of limbs, asthma, Multiple sclerosis, degenerative joint diseases, prosthesis, and stamina conditions. Deaf clients and blind clients as well as non-English speaking clients.

National Director
As National Director I assumed responsibility for Special Employment Services activities in both the states of Nevada and Florida. Part of my mandate is to extend SES offices into all areas of Nevada and all areas of Florida.

As Director, I am responsible for all aspects of the day to day operations of the company, which involve but are not limited to; creating job opportunities for Nevada’s disabled community, both minors and adults, in a wide variety of industries, both professional and non professional. Design and operation of our situational assessment center, directing national Projects With Industry grant program, development and negotiation of state and local contracts,  Advocacy programs, Job and Bus Coaching programs, designing and instructing Job Search Skills Classes for adults and transition students, research and reporting services for State agencies, payroll and accounting.

Employment Specialist
As an Employment Specialist/Job developer, I developed extensive knowledge of the Las Vegas social services community, its policies and procedures. I developed in-depth profiles on our clients, which were then used to develop a personalized job development and job search program. I worked with each individual client helping them maximize the opportunities and benefits available to them from the social services community. I also provided interviewing skills, dress skills, personal interaction skills, confidence and self-esteem skills. Application execution and resume creation support, transportation support, bus coaching and job coaching where required. Monitoring of job success, providing assistance as needed and intervention with employers where required. In conjunction with these activates I developed strong working relationships with the Las Vegas employer community.

As Director of Florida Services, I am responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the company, which involve but are not limited to; creating job opportunities for the Florida disabled community, both minors and adults, in a wide variety of industries, both professional and non-professional.  Design and operation of our Supported Employment, On the Job Training centers and Pre-Employment training programs, directing statewide Projects as well as directing all Florida State Employment  Network activities for Social Security recipients.  The development and negotiation of state and local and Federal contracts,  Advocacy programs, Job and Bus Coaching programs, designing and instructing Job Search Skills Classes for adults and transition students, research and reporting services for State agencies, payroll and accounting.
